Morning we have PJM lecture and afternoon we have IS Lecture (Contemporary Chinese Political System).

Today is the day whereby we get back our results for last semester, and I’m pretty worried with my results; especially with Real Estate Law. And when I woke up, I saw Klinton already surfing the net and trying to log into his account to see his results. Soon I saw mine too, and I’m disappointed with it because my GPA dropped from previous semesters. This time round, the results are also very crucial because it decides the internship months.

PJM lecture in the morning, (Cash Flow Forecasting). After lesson, we walked over to the west campus to have our lunch and on our way there, we saw some cute stuff along the street. And Mr. Wee called us to see when we finished our lunch; therefore we head to the canteen. And our aim there is to drink soup because we knew from the first IS lesson, the students told us that the soup stall is really good and there is always queue. So when we reached, there are already students queuing, and we joined the queue too!
 I ate 香菇排骨汤and it served in a mini pot with rice and also small side dishes. It was only 6RMB, $1.20. Comparing back to Singapore, it is super cheap and normally in school, they don’t sell soup whereas they do here. The reason is because China people loves soup and even if the guy over in China want to chase a girl has to know how to stewed soup to impress the girl and the mother.  

During lunch, an accident happened between our students and China students. In the canteen, it was air-conditioned and it was floor standing air conditioner type. And the plane of the air conditioner is blowing towards a couple but not to the crowd of people, worst of all, the plane is facing down. As all of us know that cold air sinks and hot air rises, therefore we should always let the air-con facing up in this case. When we can’t stand the temperature of the place and the couple in front, Daphne and Angie went to adjust the plane upwards towards the crowd, and thought it will be okay. Surprisingly, the guy of the couple stood up and went to adjust back the original position and looked at us. But we really can’t feel the wind, and even Mr Wee stand up and went to adjust it. From this incident, I felt that China people are selfish who only take care of their well-being but not others, therefore we also have China people having no manners. This is a bad point of China people comparing to Singaporeans, whereas Singaporeans will be fair and give in to each other.

After lunch, we left the place and did not see the person selling the stuffs at the street already, perhaps they were told off by policeman and had to shift to other places.  When we reached our school, the guys went to play basketball which they bought for 50RMB, $10 shared among the guys.

IS lesson in the afternoon was taught by Jack. I could not really understand today’s topic because he didn’t use PowerPoint slides and he kept talking away. After that, we went back hostel and rest till 5:10pm, and then meet everyone to go Guangu together for dinner at Golden Hans, which we have seats already reserve by Mr. Wee.

We bus 510 there and when we reached, we are informed that we do not have seats and our seats are taken up by another Mr. Huang because they thought another Mr. Huang is another Mr. Wee, therefore ended up Mr. Wee having bad mood. From this angle, I felt that the restaurants in China do not have good customer service; they should have check properly if really that’s the person who reserved the seats and somemore Mr. Wee reserved 21 seats. Definitely another Mr.Huang did not reserved so many seats and would not they feel why they need so little seats right now compared to the seats they called to reserve. And the manager also did not do anything to compensate us for their bad service, but only serve us to other places. Comparing the China and Singapore restaurant, there are differences. Such as: Singapore do have good service because they confirm that you’re the one who reserved and confirm the hand phone number before letting you in, whereas China don’t. And even if Singapore restaurant made some mistakes, they will compensate the customer and make sure that the customer enjoys their meals because the restaurant fear that they will get complains from authorities. In Singapore, even it was just a small matter; citizens could post it publicly and make things big, which will have bad reputation unto the restaurants.

The food is in German Concept and their specialty is those people walking around serving food. They served Duck Meat, Chicken Wings, Beef Meat, Banana, Corns, German Sausage and many others. Everything was not bad just that I don’t like their dessert section. China is really bad at pastry because they are good at looking rice and vegetables those foods.

The food that I liked is the German sausage, it was really good! And the food that I detest most is the puffs, it was dry and it was tasteless and hard, the worst puff that I ever had.  While we are eating, some talked about what scandals thing and joke around till quite late, then we decide to move off. Anyway this meal is treated by Mr.Wee, THANK YOU! :D

After the sumptuous feast, we went to Carrefour and shop for grocery and food. And I bought some snacks for tomorrow to munch on the bus to 武当山！ Of course, shop around for awhile and bought some stuffs.

Private bus again back home and tomorrow is the day to武当山 mountain!
