Today I’m going to 3 Gorges Dam, and I heard things that over there I’m able to see how the water flows, and the process of sitting on the cruise, and other stuffs which interests me to go!
We sat off at 11am to board the bus and it took the bus 5 hours to reach the hotel, at about 5pm, we reached the hotel. My friend and I checked in the room and lunch time was set at 5:20pm to meet at the lobby. This time round, the dinner wasn’t held at the hotel but it is situated away from the hotel, I think they are affiliated? Anyway we bus to the restaurant and our first impression of the restaurant is not bad.
Once we reached and settle ourselves to the dining room, we realized there is a Mahjong table and its automatically helps to re-arrange the tiles (as you can see from the video below). I have never seen this in my life and this suits lazy people who hates to arrange the tiles after playing it. Some of the girls and guys went over to play and others took picture. Soon the food served, we started starting to fill our famished stomach. They came with cold dish of tomato eggs, fish that is not fresh and lousy plastic utensils and cutlery, which makes all of us a little disappointed with their service and do not look forward to the next meal over there.
After dinner, some of my friends wanted to go to the provision shop to get some tidbits and instant noodles, so Klinton and I companied them go though it’s drizzling. It took about 8 minutes to walk there and on our way there, we saw tenants selling Dog’s meat. Initially the guys wanted to try dog meat but the girls told them that we’re not supposed to eat them because it is so cruel and there’s a Chinese tradition saying. It says that “if you eat dog meat, the dog is going to bark at you continuously for 3 years”. Therefore none of us eat it in the end.
The packaging of the coffee compared to Singapore is different. The serving per pack in Singapore is larger as compared over here. ...
After getting the food, we walk back to the hotel and bathed before we get sick. That night my roommate fall asleep while studying PJM, but I studied all the way till midnight and even brew coffee to drink as my booster if I do feel tired.
Goodnight!! Tomorrow would be going to Three Gorges Dam and sit on the cruise!
