12th September 2011 (7th day)
Today’s programme is IS Lecture in the morning and PJM Lecture in the afternoon.
When we reached the class, Mr. Wee came in and told us that the teacher is sick so the lesson is cancelled and change push forward the afternoon lesson forward. Today PJM lecture is topic 7: Site Layout.
Lunch at “Fake KFC” and requested for delivery to Haiyi Building. After the foods have arrived, we went up to Level4 to have our food. But we realized there is not enough food, we ordered 7 sets of set8 but they came with only 6 sets. So we called back to the shop owner and clarify out if they give us short of a meal. And the woman says she will come over and check, therefore we stop eating and wait for her. When she reached, she is calculating and I can see she is confused because we kept calculating and trying to tally to the receipts. In end, we counted for her that we only have 5 sets because we didn’t see actually there’s an extra set of the table. Therefore, we gained a extra set for ourselves accidentally.
After eating, came back room and start to do create blog & do journal – jacquelineinwuhan.blogspot.com
Dinner time, I ate instant noodles with all my friends at Level4. We celebrated Mid-Autumn like that today, as we didn’t went out to celebrate because a lot of us are tired and so we didn’t get the chance to see people handling with lanterns and playing with pops. But we have fun upstairs, some of my friends helped to cook instant noodles and some helped to cook Seaweed Hotdog Soup, and they bought packets of drumstick, duck meat and so on as additional ingredients. This is how we together spent our day together. It is the first time that I didn’t eat moon cake during Mid-autumn festival because I don’t like the taste of the local moon cake, as I have tried when Mr. Wee give out some during class. And I misses Singapore’s Moon cake, especially the one that I bought back home for my Mum! I wish I could eat them right now!
That night I saw fireworks at my teacher’s room and even videoed it down. And I realized that China is generous in putting fireworks; unlike Singapore put it when there’s special days such as National Day. Maybe partly of the reason is that China is richer than Singapore.
Goodnight! & tomorrow is Brandon Tham’s birthday! (:
Polariods!
